If you have school age children who are now back in the classroom, things have probably changed dramatically for you this week!
A bit of peace and quiet, and a sense that the country may just starting to reboot again… even though there’s still a long way to go.
This Sunday is Mother’s Day, and even though we can’t go out for a nice meal there are still plenty of ways we can celebrate and support some of the wonderful local businesses at the same time.
Here are some of our favorite Mother’s Day offers from around the town:
For flowers, Bizzie Lizzie and Twigs and Twine both offer some beautiful bouquets for Mother’s Day and offer click and collect or delivery options. Bizzie Lizzie's are also offering mothers day gift boxes.
Rumsey’s Chocolaterie offer a selection box of chocolates that you can create yourself.
If you’re after freshly baked cakes, check out Woodworks Trading or Black Goo.
Newitts are open for some wonderful cuts of meat and meal ideas, and if you don’t fancy cooking Prezzo almost their entire menu available for click and collect.
We’re all looking forward to the day we can get together and celebrate with the important people in our lives, but in the meantime we’re very grateful for living in such an amazing town with so many incredible local businesses.
