What is the legal tyre tread depth limit?

The legal tyre tread depth limit is 1.6mm, however our recommended tyre limit is 3mm.

Having worn tyres would mean that the only contact patch between you and the road is passed its best, which puts you at risk of a collision as the stopping distance increases dramatically.

Especially when driving in wet conditions because tyre tread supports grip between the tyre and the road.

How often should I check my tyre pressure?

We recommend that you should check your tyre pressure every 4 weeks.

The reason being is that tyres can deflate easily, which can result in uneven and excessive tread wearing.
