Can I leave my car with you during my hire?

All customers of course are more than welcome to leave a vehicle with us, we will look after the key and keep it safe round the back, if the hire is over night.

What documentation do I need to bring for my car/van hire?

We ask all customers to bring their driving license, national insurance number and a proof of address dated within the last 8 weeks. This can be a utility bill or bank statement.

Alternatively, customers can print a check code from the 'GOV' website.

Do you take a deposit when I hire a vehicle? If so, how much?

We take a £350.00 deposit for all our hire bookings, this is returnable at the end of hire.

How much is the excess on insurance?

The hire insurance excess is £1500 for cars and £2000 for vans.

Is there a waiver for the insurance excess?

Yes, we have a collision damage waiver offer for all of our customers, lowering the liability to £350.00.

How much does the waiver cost?

For a rental vehicle, the collision damage waiver is only £16 per day, reducing your excess to £350 for both cars and vans.

Am I entitled to any refund after paying the insurance excess?

We like to advise all of our customers that after taking any excess charge, that as we are not a body repair specialist, we will have the damage inspected and quoted from there. It is then we can look at whether there is any difference between the amount liable (excess) and the cost of the repair.

Can I book a Car/Van hire online?

Yes, you can, and it is easy to use. Customers are shown all make of vehicles comprising our hire fleet. The booking system we use is in sync with our hire diary, thus, will show what is available to book.

Do you have an out of hours drop off service?

You can drop a vehicle off in front of our premises and put the key in the drop box located by our front door. Please be aware that you will be liable for the vehicle until the next working day when it can be checked in by a member of staff.
