Every member of staff is equipped with gloves and sanitisation anti-bacterial products.

We sanitise every vehicle handed over to us and we also fully sanitise every vehicle before handing back to customers.

  • We have increased our capacity and now offer every customer free Collection & Delivery.
  • Our driver will contact you upon leaving to arrange for the key handover to take place safely.
  • On arrival our driver will fully sanitise your keys and vehicle before driving away.
  • Once complete our service advisor will contact you for payment over the phone.
  • Your vehicle will then go through a full wash, hoover and sanitisation before being delivered back to you.
  • A re-sanitised sticker with the drivers initials will be placed in your car, your paperwork will be left on the passenger seat, finally your keys will be sanitised and posted through your letterbox or otherwise as agreed with our driver.

Touch-FreeDrive In (If you are coming to the garage)

  • You will be asked to park opposite our customer entrance and to place your keys through our key drop box.
  • One of our team will identify and acknowledge you (by your reg no.) through the window.
  • Wearing gloves and a mask our team will fully sanitise your keys and car before handing the vehicle over to a technician.
  • When the work is complete our team will contact you to take your payment over the phone and arrange your collection.
  • When you arrive your paperwork will be left on the passengers seat of your vehicle and the keys will be placed on a table for you to pick up.

Please be aware that we are not taking any cash payments. We can only take contactless and payments over the phone.

SANITISATION PROCESS

Every member of staff including our technicians are equipped with gloves and face masks to wear when sanitising and working on every car.

Keys are disinfected upon receiving and again before handing back to all customers

Step 1: before work is carried out

  • Keys are disinfected
  • Exterior and interior door handles
  • Seat belt buckles, wiper and indicator stalks
  • Steering wheel, gear stick, rear view mirror and handbrake
  • All switches including mirrors, windows, lights and seat controls
  • All console and dash areas including the glove box handle

Once all the above is complete a disposable seat cover will be placed over the driver’s seat and a sanitised sticker placed on the steering wheel. Your car is now ready to be passed on to our technicians to be worked on.

Step 2: Technicians

  • Once your car is complete it will be passed on for re-sanitisation

Step 3: Re-sanitisation

  • Keys are disinfected
  • Exterior and interior door handles
  • Seat belt buckles wiper and indicator stalks
  • Steering wheel, gear stick, rear view mirror and handbrake
  • All switches including mirrors, windows, lights and seat controls
  • All console and dash areas including the glove box handle
  • Seat cover is removed

If you are picking up your car from us, it will be parked outside the main doors to Thame Cars, fully sanitised with a sanitised sticker on the steering wheel ready for you.

If we are delivering your car back to you we will firstly arrive at your chosen drop off location, next we will fully sanitise your vehicle, once complete we will place a sanitised sticker on your steering wheel and lastly we will post your keys through your letter box.
