April 2021

For many of us, Monday April 12 will feel like a gigantic leap forwards towards regaining our collective freedom.

As pub and restaurant gardens reopen to serve food and alcohol and gyms welcome us back to help shift the lockdown layer, our high street will once again be buzzing with neatly trimmed Thame residents and visitors nipping in and out of our wonderful ‘non-essential’ shops (though we think they’re all essential!).

At Thame Cars we are also very excited for April 12 as the changes mean we can finally allow our wonderful customers into our fully stocked showroom.

We were delighted to develop a slick online system which enabled our customers to view and purchase cars remotely, but we’ve really missed the face to face interaction and can’t wait to get back to doing what we do best.

It won’t be quite ‘business as usual’ of course, as face masks will still be compulsory (unless you are exempt), and test drives will be alone rather than with one of our expert sales team sitting next to you.

We will be operating on an appointment only basis to ensure that we limit the number of people in the showroom at any one time, so please call in advance to ensure we can find a time to meet you.

We think that these changes are going to make the process of buying a nearly new car from Thame Cars easier and more convenient, though we will still be offering our tried and tested Click and Collect online service as well.

Our service, MOT & tyre department has been operating at nearly full capacity throughout the most recent lockdown, and will continue to do so.
