We can also carry out repairs - both large and small - and have your model back in as-new condition in next to no time. Of course, we only ever work with manufacturer-approved parts and accessories, meaning that all components are fully compatible and will provide long-lasting performance and reliability.

In addition to servicing and maintenance, we at Thame Cars can also conduct MOT testing. This annual check on the roadworthiness of your vehicle is a legal requirement. The MOT test takes a look at such key performance elements as lighting, oil levels, emissions, tyre health, and more, so should we uncover any potential issues, you can rest assured we’ll be able to repair them.

What’s included in an interim car service?

​We inspect around 50 important vehicular facets. This takes into account the exterior (including underside), interior and engine. We make engine oil and oil filter replacements (if applicable) – and final checks, including a road test.

How long does a car service take?

It depends on whether it’s an interim or annual service, which means it can take up to three hours. Please get in touch if you have any questions about the type of service you require.

How often should I service my car?

Your vehicle’s recommended servicing-interval details can be found in its handbook. We recommend a service once per year (or every 12,000 miles).

How much does a service cost?

Again, it depends on the type of service you require. We offer a range of Service Plans which are designed to deliver essential maintenance via affordable, inflation-proof monthly payments (or you can pay upfront, if you prefer).

What does a full car service include?

A full car service includes everything that’s inspected in an interim service (see above) – plus

  • Air filters replaced
  • Spark plug replaced (petrol)
