September 2018 will be the 10th year running for the annual Thame Food Festival, why not pop down and take a look at all of the amazing produce from the surrounding area. The Thatch is located near the town centre so is easily accessible to everyone, whether a regular or a stranger.
Every Tuesday the local market is erected in the town centre car park. This has been tradition for the past 800 years and is showing no sign of slowing down. You can get all sorts of goods from clothing to mobile phone accessories to fruit and veg, there’s something for everyone here.

Plenty of fun is to be had for all with a strong line-up of artists performing on-stage and lots of hands-on activities for the kids. This year The Shires and The Proclaimers are headlining So get your dancing shoes on and let loose for the end of Summer in Towersey!
Fancy getting those leg muscles working? Why not go for a walk along the Phoenix Trail, a country lane leading from Thame all the way to Princes Risborough. You could even cycle if you felt like it! It’s suitable for a leisurely stroll, a traffic-free bike ride, or just exploring.

The Thame Players are a group of amateur performers here in Thame that perform their own productions 5 times a year as well as an annual pantomime. It’s hard to believe that these performers aren't professionals! The theatre is also home to Thame’s only cinema, hosting particular films on particular days. If you’re a fan of the performing arts this is definitely worth checking out.
