Reserve & Collect Sales Procedure

You can now book an appointment to view our cars in person and have an unaccompanied test drive.

Our Reserve & Collect procedure is COVID safe, easy and very convenient for you. Every car we sell is prepared in our workshop to high standards, and we sanitise every vehicle before handing over to you.

Just follow our 5 simple steps:

Step 1: Browse our Showroom Online

Step 2: Found a car you like? Book an appointment to see the car in person, and have an unaccompanied test drive

Step 3: Use our online finance calculator to get your quote. If you have a part exchange, get the value using our Vehicle Valuation tool

Step 4: Secure the car by placing a fully refundable £99 deposit

Step 5: Finalise your purchase either online or on site, and drive away on the same day!

We accept payment on Credit or Debit card of up to £1,000. Any additional payments are accepted by bank transfer.

Sanitisation Procedure

Our sanitisation process covers all high contact points in and out of every car, this includes:

  • Car keys
  • Exterior and interior door handles
  • Seat belt buckles, wiper, and indicator stalks
  • Steering wheel, gear stick, rear view mirror and handbrake
  • All switches including mirrors, windows, lights, and seat controls
  • All console and dash areas including glove box handle

Can I test drive on my own?

Yes, from Monday 12th April you can have an unaccompanied test drive.

For this we would need a copy of your driving license, national insurance number, and a proof of address.

Do I need to make an appointment?

​Yes, to reduce the number of people in our showroom at one time you would need to book and appointment prior to your visit.

How do I make a payment?

​Currently we are unable to take cash payments.

We accept payment on Credit or Debit card of up to £1,000. Any additional payments are accepted by bank transfer or through our Online Buying platform on our website https://www.thamecars.co.uk/buying-online.

Can I buy a car and collect on the same day?

Yes, you can buy a car and collect on the very same day.

Every car we sell is given 100-point safety check, service, cosmetically prepared and valeted to perfect condition before going for sale. Ready to be handed over on the same day.

What documents do I need to bring with me to an unaccompanied test drive?

To safely insure you we would need your proof of address, your national insurance number and a copy of your driving licence.
